Description
We are currently recruiting for a SAS Designer for our client based in Brussels, Belgium -Our client has an opportunity available for a young enthusiastic SAS designer. The ideal candidate must have work experience in writing and maintaining SAS code for use in an automated production environment and the capacity to work in agile development teams alongside software engineers and analysts.
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
· Gather information from the users
· Prepare documentation on all production programming and validation activities.
· Work independently and with colleagues to complete deliverables
· Familiar with configuring SAS BI components: troubleshoot and resolve BI related issues, design and development of reports, charts, interactive maps, data structures, stored procedures.
· Maintain and enhance existing systems code
· Have good programming skills in SAS and PL/SQL.
Job Requirements
- Graduate degree in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics or other Quantitative Field of Study
- At least 2 years work experience in delivering SAS-based solutions in a production environment
- Expertise in Base SAS and SAS Macro programming
- Expertise in SAS data step programming
- Experience interfacing with relational databases and stored procedures
- Experience with various coding styles, including debugging and improving code written by others
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Tools and Technologies required:
Visual analytics, SAS Base, SAS Macro, Oracle 11 g, PL/SQL.
