UI Designer - Contract - Chester - £200 - £260 per dayI have an immediate requirement for a UI Designer on Contract basis for a market leading client in Chester.
You will be responsible for designing a first class user interface for the organisations' native mobile apps.
You will work closely with key members of the business to innovate and assist with recommendations for the mobile apps, from concepts through to the delivery of industry-leading designs.
Essential Skills:
-Native Mobile Applications Design experience - experience of iOS and Android design
-Sketch experience (UI design package)
-Passionate about usability and data driven user-centered design
-Have multiplatform design experience
-Experience of working with IT and Business stakeholders
-Skilled in leading the design process
-Experience of the Adobe Creative Suite applications (primarily Photoshop and illustrator)
-Commercial creative experience
Desirable Skills:
-UX skills
-Familiar with designing and creating iconography
-Familiarity of low fidelity prototyping software (Marvel, Keynote)
-Familiarity of high fidelity prototyping (Swift, HTML, CSS, FramerJS and Pixelate)
-Skilled in the use of Adobe after effects
-A degree in a HCI related discipline, digital design or significant industry experience
-Experience of managing relationships with external digital and user research agencies
Contract Length: 4months (until the end of the year with very likely extensions)
Contract Location: Chester
Contract Rate: £200 - £260 per day
