Information Analyst Role - NHS Trust - Berkshire
I am currently looking for a Datix Information Analyst to join the Risk Information team within a large and established NHS Trust.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialist training to professionals from other disciplines.
- Assist staff in the use of complex systems and in writing meaningful reports, using a number of specialist tools and databases.
- To attend meetings as required. To ensure information issues are represented, understanding is transferred and forging closer working relationships with the Trust Client group.
- Working as part of the Risk Management Department with an evolving client service group, providing specialised support and sharing best practice with the Risk Management Team.
- To develop expertise in complex data mining and query analysis. Using expert judgement to make amendments if necessary with little or no outside help.
- To use own judgement in determining what analytical methods, including inferential and descriptive statistics, would best fit to interrogate and investigate data from a wide range of sources, requiring long periods of intense concentration. This information may then be needed to be communicated in a variety of media in an easy to understand non-technical language.
- Coding databases requiring high levels of intense concentration and knowledge around clinical and non-clinical coding.
- To liaise closely with the Risk Information Manager to ensure that consistency exists in coding information.
