Senior ETL Developer (Informatica) - Daily Rates - Dublin
This is a 5 month contract initially with a view to extension.

What you need -

• Informatica Power Centre 9.5+ Development.
  • Mapping Designer/debugger, Workflow Manager.
  • Performance Tuning.
  • Adding components to a production environment that does not have Team Based development.
• Experience with Oracle combined with Informatica.
  • SQL/PL/SQL query performance tuning.
  • Use of Hints, WITH Statements and Upserts.
  • Debugging Stored Procedures.
  • Schema Separation, Indexes, Table partitions.
• Adhere to development standards.
  • Data quality standards, unit testing.
• Ability to work closely with stakeholders from various teams within the company, with external customers and 3rd party vendors.
• Data warehousing skills (Kimball).
  • Surrogate Keys, Slow Changing Dimensions type 2 and 7.
• Linux experience in terms of Informatica.
• Documentation
  • Test plans, Production Drops - step by step rollout guides and roll back plans
    • The ability to write a test plan before coding begins
• Excellent attention to detail
  • Understanding requirements, Testing - source versus target; records volumes, KPI values, aggregations.
• Ability to manage expectations and meet deadlines.

Desirable Skills -

• Telco experience
  • Basic understanding of LTE
    • MME
    • CSFB
    • VOLTE
    • GTP
• Business Intelligence report development.
