Role
Our client is looking for an experienced SAP FICO Architect/Subject Matter Expert (SME) for a project in Stockholm, Sweden to work as a SAP FICO Technical Product Manager on a large SAP solution.
The purpose of the role is to ensure architectural optimization, alignment and standardization of products and solutions within a given product range and/or technology and/or platform. This work shall be done in perspective of the current and future business needs in the area.
The SAP FICO Architect/SME (Subject Matter Expert) is overall accountable to ensure that the assigned products and solutions within his/her area are designed in the best possible way for the organisation with focus on:
- Meeting organisation's business needs and securing high product and solution quality in combination with total cost efficiency
- Ensuring architectural optimization, alignment and standardization of products and solutions and/or technology and/or platform, considering IT Strategy, Enterprise Architecture (including Information Model Architecture)
- Ensuring development of global solutions and optimizing the reuse of existing platforms/technology as well as already developed solutions and functions within the IT product portfolio.
- Review and be part in approving development cost estimates
- Analyze and enrich key demands, ensure impact analysis and refine requirements and high-level design
- Ensure that the solution meets usability-, functional- and non-functional requirements and information quality requirements
- Approve design specifications
- In complex application operation matters, provide guidance and approve necessary solution changes.
Required skills/experience:
The ideal candidate should have the following skills:
- Extensive technical knowledge and experience on developing/implementing/architecting SAP FI/CO/FSCM solutions at global companies.
- Competence on SAP PS/SD/MM/PP modules, with deeper knowledge of areas having financial impact (ie product costing, project accounting...)
- Knowledge and understanding of IT environments (IT development, implementation and IT operations)
- Experience of IT development in the SAP area
- Ability to understand and convert business requirements to design solutions
- Business focus, result oriented and an interest in working with continuous improvements
- Ability to work in a team, in a friendly environment, collaborate and share assignments with other Technical Product Managers
- Experience of working with Finance processes in a global company for at least 2-3 years is an advantage (Accounting, Closing, Controlling, Reporting, Treasury etc.)
- Experience of working with global service providers is an advantage
