My client is a leading manufacturer of professional A/V systems, with the head office in California. In 1994 the company expanded its commitment to international customers by opening a European office in Amersfoort, The Netherlands. The European office provides full service to international customers, including sales, technical support, applications engineering, system design and order processing. Position
This is a technical support position within the Sales Department. As the application engineer you will be an expert on related AV products and applications. He or she must also be a salesman, a presenter and an advisor. The position requires some travel. - In house product testing for technical issues experienced infield. -Performing technical support over the telephone for AV products. -Trouble shooting technical problems with AV systems over the phone. -Issuing Return Authorizations for Service of product. -Providing product specifications of products in AV applications for dealers and end users. -Generating and maintaining a professional and friendly relationship with dealers and end users. -Traveling and representing at trade shows and dealer events, including participation in sat up and tear down of such events. -Training of sales team members and new employees. -Training of dealers and end users. -Traveling to trade show sights, dealer/end user offices, and job sights in order to fulfill any of the responsibilities listed above, as required.
About you: - Bachelor/ education in Electronics -Fluent command of the Spanish and English language. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills. -Professional and friendly attitude that demonstrates a genuine desire to help solve problems and work with others in a friendly atmosphere. -Professional appearance.
