Description
Progressive is looking for an experienced Freelance ICT Project Manager for a project in Amersfoort. This Project Manager will report into the ICT function and be focused on managing IT-related projects across the Development & Operations department (250 FTE) and stakeholder management with client IT and service line leaders. There are many exciting projects running in this area, so strong time management, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills are required to be successful in this role.
The main responsibilities within the function are:
- Manage multiple projects leveraging industry standard methodologies (ie, Prince2, PMP) and internal stage gate approach.
- Be responsible and accountable for leading multi-functional project teams through project plan deliverables, steering team updates, issue/risk management, etc.
- Quickly identify project dependencies and manage to mitigate.
- Create and execute project work plans, adjusting as necessary to meet the demands of the changing environment/climate.
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects of project plan and scope in a structured manner according to standards.
- Prepare for, and facilitate, multi-functional, upper management, steering team meetings and board reviews. Experience must be visible from resume.
- Ensure project documentation is prepared, aligned, reviewed and stored appropriately.
- Coaching and guiding more junior team members.
Job requirements:
- Industry certification in Project Management (Prince2 Practitioner, IPMA-C or better, or PMP).
- Strong leadership qualities and experience.
- "Hands-on" experience in application development, application deployment and infrastructure projects. Experience must be visible from resume.
- Operates with a disciplined approach, strong and meticulous organizational skills.
- Experience with IT infrastructure and / or SAP projects
- Collaborative style and approach, team building experience and expertise.
- Excellent oral and written communication, ability to do strong and pro-active stakeholder management towards Steerco's and ICT client leaders. Experience must be visible from resume.
- International experience in a large multinational corporation is preferred, having worked with different cultures, working abroad, or joining from a different background is a plus. Experience must be visible from resume.
- Helicopter view and able to present and "sell" ideas and clear messages on all levels of the organization, from technical team members to executive management. Able to appreciate the differences in needs of information and communication approach between these levels.
- Academic level, preferably from an IT-related.
- At least 7 years relevant work experience in similar jobs.
