Description
We need you to design, develop and deliver our new Cloud environments; development, test, production, sandbox, partners, etc. You will have and full system view, you will be collaborating with stakeholders, you will be creating scripts, you will be triaging and troubleshooting issues, applying patches and updating systems.
If you are a Developer or Systems specialist with DB2 Administrator or Linux expertize who would like to flex your muscles in a new world with proven Operational experience in storage, monitoring and troubleshooting, this is the role for you.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead technical activities running proof of concepts and user stories from conception to delivery.
- Proven design skills across database/storage or networks.
- Hunger to get involved in every part of our system - from the earliest stage of product architecture, design and development to deployment, troubleshooting, and performance analysis - to ensure a reliable quality product in production.
Requirements
- Proven systems, Linux or DB2, and Java development experience.
- Extensive Experience of WebSphere or Tivoli security applications like WebSeal.
- Solid experience in Operations or Architecture roles in previous projects that have given you a system view of how applications run on the Cloud.
- Track record of ensuring reliability, performant, and scalable systems.
- Solid understanding of systems with extensive understanding of Middleware and storage.
- Experience of OpenStack Heat, Urban Code Deploy, Chef, Jenkins, Java.
- Minimum 6 years' experience in a similar role.
