Description
Proteus Europe is currently looking for an Electronics Engineer for one of our clients to join them on a permanent basis. You will be working on both existing designs and creating new designs. Some jobs will include working from breadboard level, through prototypes, PCB design, part specification, regulation testing and on to finished products ready for manufacture and some just on one or two of these stages. You should be happy to work in a small, busy development team with responsibility for own projects and dealing direct with customers when necessary.This role will be ideally suited to an Electronic Engineer with a broad skill base and at least 5 years relevant design experience working on analogue, digital and microcontroller design work. Skills needed are:
- Schematic and PCB CAD design, experience with Altium is a must
- Analogue design including op-amps, filtering, transducers, pressure, A-D and D- A conversion, DC power supplies both linear and switch mode
- Digital design including digital discrete devices and microcontrollers. Experience of FPGA (VHDL) would be an advantage
- Low level firmware development and debugging using C and assembler and experience of some or of PIC, Atmel AVR and ARM based microcontrollers would be beneficial but is not essential
