Real Staffing are currently recruiting for a Senior Statistician / Biostatistician to Manage a team for a contract with a leading Pharmaceutical company in Hull.

Role Purpose:
  • To manage the Data Management (DM) and Statistics team in the Evidence Generation and Clinical Research team.
  • To provide DM and statistical expertise and deliver and coach best practices.
  • To optimise the generation and delivery of robust evidence to meet business objectives.


Accountabilities:

The role is responsible for managing a DM and Statistics team that supports ESMO to meet business objectives through optimal insight into products from available data, the generation of robust evidence and sound oversight of clinical study activities.

Contract Details:

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Hull

Duration: 3-6 Months

Rate: £60 - 80 per hour

There would be the option of working 2 days a week from home

Skills & Experience Required:
  • At least 3 years working at a senior level in pharmaceutical/consumer healthcare/cosmetic industry or at a CRO or clinical vendor as a Statistician.
  • Expert knowledge of SAS Programming, statistical methods and statistical concepts in clinical studies.
  • Excellent understanding of the DM and statistical processes, standards and software used in clinical studies
  • In?depth and up to date knowledge of GCP/regulatory standards.
  • Strong understanding of corporate and operational business needs.
  • Line management experience.
  • Experienced in process improvement projects including development of Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Effective project management and organisational skills.
