Description

Role: UI/UX Designer

Contract Length: 6 Months

Contract Type: Daily Rate

Location: Dublin

A leading provider of Internet and multichannel banking solutions to the worldwide financial services industry. We are currently looking for a highly motivated and passionate individual, with a strong interest in user interface design and web applications, to join their Internet Development team as a UI/UX Designer. Working closely with the software development team, you will be responsible for designing and building out the next generation Internet component of their banking product.

Desired Skills and Experience Essential skills are:

* Minimum 5 years of professional experience designing and developing web-based user interfaces * Experience in interactive prototype creation with tools such as InVision, Balsamiq Mockups, Dreamweaver, etc.

* Expert knowledge of rich web application design methods, usability, navigation schemes, hierarchy & composition, information architecture and current design trends/best practices for desktop and mobile

* Creative image/graphics experience with graphics design tools accompanied by strong visual skills in producing images, icons and other assets

* Experience with glyphicon libraries

* Responsive Web Design experience

* Working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS

* Thorough understanding of user-centered design and web standards

* Self-motivated with excellent presentation and communication skills

* Must provide portfolio
