IT Development Manager
Salary: £700 - £800 per day
40 hours per week

IT Development Manager required to assist with 3 key product launches for a key client and work closely with the Head of IT to drive the analysis, design and building of quality systems and technical solutions.

Project brief:

Established as a well known Centre of Excellence my client employ over 500 people in the business and focus on a heavy investment into IT. Their Software Development teams are broken down into teams of 10 and will then report into yourself. Alongside other parts of the business you will then report back in to the IT Manager.

They have a plethora of key product launches planned over the next 12 months and are looking for a Development experienced Manager to assist in the leadership, mentoring and long term planning of the teams.

The successful applicant will be……

- Reporting directly to the Head of IT using your knowledge to analyse the business goals and deliver a solid plan of action against those

- Work with the current .Net technology stack of C# / VB.Net and Web services

- Communicate and engage with other departments in the business - Infrastructure, Service desk etc...

- Call upon prior experience and successful delivery to agree 3rd party supplier ship when required, negotiate and deliver mutually beneficial SLA's

The right technical knowledge will include:

- C# .Net

- vb.Net

- SQL

- HTML5 / CSS3

- Javascript

- MVC4 as a minimum

Any experience using the following skills will be highly beneficial:

- TFS

- Angular

- Node

- Web API's

- Sharepoint

As a Senior member of staff within the business you will be expected to:

- Have a professional approach and proven background of creating and delivering target driven projects

- A commercial focus with forethought to the business and impact on the teams

- Self motivated and organised

- Communicative and able to negotiate with staff of all levels

- Good communication skills, rapport and relationship building
