MSS (Mobile Soft Switch) Engineer Required - Bucharest, Romania, Contract (6 months with 6 months extension)
The Integration engineer is expected to analyze, prepare, implement and verify the configuration and integration of a Node/network/system. Scope could include the scenarios of Introduction, upgrade expansion/functionality and capacity testing. Candidates are expected to have basic/good level of experience in these areas, with a few years experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS
- Deploy Ericsson MSS (Mobile Soft Switch) including Hardware Startup, Software Installation, Configuration, Integration, Testing and Troubleshooting.
- Operation and Maintenance for customers' existing MSS/UDM/IMS systems with problem identification/troubleshooting, expansion, upgrade/update.
- Provide technical analysis/suggestion to PM(Project Manager) or other project stakeholders during project planning or project execution
- Interacting with customer and fulfil customer needs with technical expertise
- Bachelor degree or above in computer, telecommunication/Engineering
- Good communication skills
- Excellent learning skills
- Willing to learn and self-motivated for technical competence development
- Willing to take challenge and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent Oral/Written English
- Basic knowledge for mobile networks (2G/3G/4G) is mandatory
- Good understanding for IP network, CCNA certificate is preferred
- Basic knowledge on Linux OS is mandatory
