SOA Integration Architect - DUBAI
The SOA Architect will have a great opportunity to work with a large corporation in Dubai, working in a collaborative environment with a flat structure.
The SOA Aechitect will be expected to design the integration architecture frameworks and its constituent artefacts, etc ie how the integration architecture is to be modelled, its views, viewpoints, perspectives, concerns and how its assets are to be catalogued
Define the target enterprise integration architecture, vision, strategy, principles, blueprints, patterns and standards
Demonstrate how the target integration technology architecture supports the business, information and application target architectures
Articulate using the integration architecture framework, the current integration architecture, and its constraints, drivers for change and assessment
Define a integration architecture roadmap that supports the business, information, application and technology roadmaps
Identify the communications technologies and strategies required to enable interoperability between applications
Identify the services required to support integration in the process, information and application domains
Define the messages, interfaces and components required to support the enterprise integration strategy
Have extensive knowledge in all technologies arenas that relate to this domain eg messaging Middleware, ESB, business process execution and monitoring capabilities, rules and decision engines, etc.
Knowledge and Technical Skills
Essentials
- In depth hands-on understanding of Service Oriented Architecture, especially in a Microsoft Windows environment
- Experience in applying various Integration Patterns in real world scenarios
- Hands on experience with ESB, REST and SOAP based services, Messaging etc
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases is a definite plus
- Will be working on a Next Generation Inflight Service App
Working knowledge of SOA and service oriented architecture design techniques
Demonstrates and maintains a broad knowledge of technology solutions, current trends and techniques and actively communicates new technology developments.
Working knowledge of architecture development tools and techniques
Sound knowledge of architectural design including knowledge of services based approaches to solution design
Experience of COTS package implementations including large packages and custom solution design
Experience of using standardised business models as a means of driving technical architectures
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
The ability to provide support and direction within a constantly changing environment within the context of a dynamic ever-changing business
