A Renewable Energy client is looking for an Operations Manager/Site Manager for their offshore wind farm project. Our client is looking for a Consultant who will be able to start this role ASAP or 1st October 2015, up until approx. 31st December 2015 with the possibility of 2 three months extensions, this is a Full time position, working 8hrs per day.Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing windfarm operations
- Supporting Head of Site Operations in planning, directing and managing the performance of the company's operations at the site.
- Supporting the Head of Site Operations in developing the long-term objectives of the business.
- Ensure business growth through directing operational activities to ensure these are delivered in accordance with the organisational and HSE strategies
- Responsible for the Health, safety, environment & quality, personnel & co-ordinating staff.
- Maintain an understanding of the client's asset management policy and strategy and relevant responsibilities of the role
- Management and leadership knowledge and experience
- Significant experience in operational management
- Experience of financial control, budget preparation
