- Develop UX artifacts including streamlined scenarios, storyboards, information architecture (flows), wireframes and interactive prototypes
- Collaborate with graphic design teams and deliver visual treatment specifications for the user interface which are compliant with the NETGEAR brand
- Ability to work in a fast-paced sometimes ambiguous environment
- Collaborates on user experience planning and usability research
- Design products through their entire lifecycle while maintaining deadlines
- Juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Focus on continuous education and skills development
- Research, design and prototype new user experiences based on product requirements
- Collaborate with clients’ (service providers) UX or marketing teams to ensure UX / UI designs meet their business goals
- Work directly with design leadership to develop novel human interfaces to data
- Input on establishing healthy design workflows
- Develop human-centered design that is intuitive and usable
Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years of experience as a UX designer, interaction designer, product designer, or similar role designing mobile, web, and/or other on-device applications the complete product development lifecycle of several UX / UI projects successfully
Experience developing clickable prototypes (invision)
Experience building pixel-perfect interface designs for development
Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
A strong portfolio demonstrating graphic design principles and technical expertise
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch
Experience working with software developers
Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences at various levels of the organization
Capable of translating designs across all devices and screen sizes
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities while managing tactical deliverables and meeting deadlines
Demonstrated user experience design skills with expert knowledge of current design patterns and trends
Able to translate complex information into user-friendly designs
Provide creative solutions consistent with industry trends, demonstrating ability to problem-solve
Have the ability to challenge current design trends
Pixel-perfect layouts with a strong sense of color theory and typography
Have a clean, timeless, and focused visual design style
Animation in after effects - desirable (but not required)
