An award winning global professional services firm requires a Microsoft Business Intelligence Developer for a project expected to last 6 months.
The Contract: 6 months
The Rate: €450/day
Location: Dublin City Centre

The Job
The senior developer will be responsible for creating the business intelligence business in Ireland. You will be involved with Data Warehouse / ETL/ Reporting architecture with project planning and estimation. You will also develop BI solutions and participate in the development of processes and standards.
Technical Skills Required
Microsoft SQL Server (2008 upwards)
Experience developing ETL solutions for Dimensional Data Warehouses using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), preferably at an enterprise scale
Experience of developing ETL solutions from a variety of data sources (RDBMS, XML, JSON, etc.)
Experience of programming in C#/VB.NET
Firm understanding of Database / Data Warehouse principles and methodologies
Experience of developing OLAP solutions using SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) would be advantageous
Experience of developing BI solutions on the broader Microsoft BI stack (SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, SharePoint, .NET, C#, MS Office, etc.)
A demonstrated ability to interact positively and constructively with customers
A demonstrated history of delivering BI/DW solutions which meet business requirements
Knowledge of Big Data technologies and Microsoft APS would be advantageous
