C++, Embedded, Instrumentation, Real time, CommsI am currently looking for a software engineer to worked on the embedded design of an instrumentation product. My client require strong C++ development skills as well as good understanding of real time systems.

Duration: 6 months +
Rate: £35 - £40 p/h
The client are a leading automation and control company and have an immediate requirement to assist them with the re-design of existing products as well as a new line of projects.
You will be tasked to assist with the trouble shooting of existing products, particularly related to ethernet.
Skills Needed:
- Strong C/C++ programming
- Understanding of real time programming
- Communication protocols (particularly ethernet)
- Design and development of embedded software for instrumentation
- Any experience with MFC and Visual studio would be desirable
