Senior Data Analyst Required 6 Month Contract

Senior Data Analyst required for a 6 month contract.

A global consultancy firm based in Dublin City Centre requires a Senior Data Analyst to work on an exciting project about to launch.

The end client is a huge high tech firm and the project involves using the latest technology, working with large volume data and €1.5billion cash transaction data. This firm is a vibrant, high energy company and requires someone with strong business skills.
The Role: Senior Data Analyst

The Rate: €450/day

The Contract: 6 months

Location: Dublin City Centre

Skills Required

Bachelor's degree in a computer science, engineering or information technology discipline. An advanced degree and related accreditations a plus.

Experience in analysing large, complex and unstructured datasets.

Good working knowledge of data mining and data visualisation.

Experience with SQL (Oracle, Vertica, Hive, MySQL, etc.), Python, Hadoop, MapReduce etc.

Experience with stat packages such as R, MATLAB, SPSS, SAS, etc. preferred.

Evidence of applied problem solving using analytics.

Assimilates data quickly in order to conduct root cause analysis.

Ability to deliver comprehensive and detailed analytical reports.

Serve as the conduit between the customer community (internal and external customers) and the engineering team.

Ability to collaborate and share initiatives in developing & innovating analytical solutions.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with a diverse stakeholder group.

Strong business skills

Experience working with one of the 'Big Four'
