Description
Mobile Apps / Android Developer required, Manchester or Cheshire office location, Contract, 4 months initially. Flexibility of start times can be offered for those who need it. The client can wait up to three weeks for the right person to start.As a Mobile Apps / Android Developer you will be responsible for the development of their existing mobile applications; whilst working on new and exciting products which delivers core services and support to their clients. You will produce bespoke interfaces and applications which will be used for their customers large user base.
The successful candidate will be highly driven, passionate about software development and technology and will take pride in their work.
Skills and Requirements * Proven professional experience in Mobile Development * At least 2 years experience developing on the Android Platform * Strong knowledge of Android native technologies (Android SDK and/or Eclipse ADB) * Must have a demonstrable portfolio including end to end development * Android-specific UI patterns and affordances. * Experience in building apps that support different screen sizes and layouts for phones and tablets * Experience with Oracle / SQL / Back end * Good documentation experience
Advantageous:
-Some experience of iOS Development with exposure to Objective-C
-Audio Streaming / Ecommerce experience
