ETL/ Datawarehouse Developer Required - 6 MonthsA global leader in the financial sector requires an ETL/ Datawarehouse Developer to join a large data centre in Dublin City Centre.
Working with the latest technologies, the company has a number of exciting projects ongoing and in the pipeline and requires an experienced contractor who is looking for a challenge to ensure projects are delivered on time.
The Contract: 6 months +
The Rate: €450
Location: Dublin City Centre
You will be responsible for the following:
Design, develop, test, tune, deploy and support data integration solutions. Support and maintain existing data integration processes. Liaise with key business stakeholders to gather data integration requirements and develop suitable solutions. Contribute to the logical/physical design and development of new/existing data marts.
Experience Required
Strong experience as an ETL/DWH developer with strong knowledge in designing, developing and delivering end-to-end data integration processes for large scale data warehouses
Experience in design, development and deployment of data warehouses or relational/analytical/multi-dimensional data marts
Strong understanding of BI principles, architectures and cloud based BI solutions
Knowledge of development standards, best practices and quality assurance techniques.
Full project lifecycle experience, from initial concept through to deployment and support.
Technical Skills Required
SQL Server 2008 R2/2012, Oracle 10/11g - knowledge of procedures, functions, query optimization strategies, indexing strategies etc.
IBM DataStage, SSIS and WhereScape RED - Experience building enterprise scale ETL/ETL solutions.
Knowledge or experience of the following: Teradata, Netezza, MS APS, Python, Perl or SPARK
Have knowledge of enterprise BI platforms such as Qlikview, Cognos, JasperSoft and/or exposure to data visualization technologies such as Tableau
Desirable
Knowledge of software methodologies such Agile/SCRUM
Experience working with financial data
Third-level I.T qualification or equivalent experience
