Actionscript, Flash, Flex, Javascript, CSS, JQuery, JSON, XMLThe role calls for strong ActionScript and JavaScript development skills and you must possess a sound knowledge of Object Oriented Technologies, Flash, JQuery, CSS3, HTML 5, XML and JSON.
This company are based near Bradford and they are market-leaders at producing education-based software, whilst experience creating educational ActionScript or Flash applications isn't essential, it certainly would be desirable.
A background in Microsoft .NET frameworks and C# is desirable but knowledge of Flash, JavaScript, ActionScript 2.0 and 3.0 are the key skills for the role.
The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years' commercial experience as an ActionScript or JavaScript Web Developer, and be aware of the latest Flash and HTML 5 enhancements.
This role is purely development and so design skills will not be required other than to interface well with the design team. The main focus will be for development though.
Projects will include creating bespoke question types to integrate into our systems as well as full navigational engines to control the users' experience.
