Information Security ConsultantA fantastic opportunity for an Information Security Consultant has arisen to work for a government office. This is an exciting role within a large public sector organization.
The company is looking for an Information Security Consultant to be the primary point of contact for the delivery of Cyber services. You would be responsible for assuring that the compliance of services and obligations is met. Your day to day responsibilities would include but not be limited to the following:
* Developing a thorough understanding of the business and IT security Risk and Compliance Management strategies, and deliver Cyber Security services accordingly
* Develop a deep relationship with the client based on trust, delivery and execution driving service excellence
* Provide expert technical advice to the client becoming the go to security expert or bringing in subject matter experts where appropriate
* Coordinate investigation, management and response to all security and virus incidents of the client while keeping appraised of all security and virus incidents and response in other regions
* Coordinate vulnerability assessments
* Provide regular security reports to the client
The successful candidate will:
* Have proven experience in a senior IT Management role demonstrating a clear understanding of security related issues
* Have a good understanding and application of IT security
* ISO 27001 experience
* Hold or be able to obtain SC or DV clearance
Desirable skills:
* Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and/or Certified Information Systems Security Manager (CISM) qualification
* Prince qualification is desirable
* ITIL experience is desirable
* PCI DSS experience is desirable
