As a Cognos Consultants
The successful applicants will have previous experience in the following design and/or development activities:
Key responsibilities
Gather reporting and analytic requirements;
Development of analytics layer (reports and cubes) within the COGNOS reporting package;
Perform Unit and System Testing of Cognos Reports and Analysis Components;
Effective teamwork skills including taking direction from the Team Leader and managing own work priorities to achieve personal and team deliverables;
Support junior team members; and
The following experience is required
Demonstrated experience in developing analytic components in Data Warehouse projects;
Must have a minimum of four years COGNOS development experience or sufficient experience with other reporting tools; and
A detailed understanding of COGNOS architecture and reporting tools.
The following experience is desirable and relevant to the required duties of the successful applicant:
Agile Data Warehouse report development;
Very Strong in report and metadata modelling with Cognos 10.1 or higher;
Strong SQL with preference for Oracle 10g or higher;
Reporting to team and project management; and
Transformer and Dynamic Cube modelling.
