Description
Our direct client in Austin, TX is looking for an Workplace Application Support Analyst. This is a contract position (initially 6 months) with extensions being highly likely.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2 years - Experience administering Microsoft Operating Systems (desktop and server) in a small business through enterprise environments
- 2 years - Experience supporting and maintaining an Enterprise Infrastructure Application
- 1 year - Experience administering Linux operating systems in a small business through enterprise environments
- 1 year - Experience with Microsoft System Center Products (SCOM/SCCM/SCVMM)
- 1 year - Experience with enterprise monitoring applications (HP SiteScope, System Center Operations Manager, and SolarWinds)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide and maintain application availability. This includes ensuring that the application is active and operating as defined in any Service Level Agreements.
- Monitor application in production environment. This includes the periodic monitoring of Servers and applications through the use of manual and automated means.
- Monitor system security, application and system events.
- Provide operational support, ensuring production systems and devices are online and available.
- Maintain disaster recovery plans.
