Description
Senior IT Project Manager - applicants will need to pass security clearance.We are implementing a new records management system. The program aims to improve the integrity, accessibility and quality of the information managed by our IT systems. Additionally, a new command system is being simultaneously implemented. Both systems will eventually be made available via a new mobile platform. The work to design, develop and implement the new systems and mobile platform are being managed under one program. We are recruiting for a Senior IT Project Manager to manage the technical work streams in support of this.
The role requires extensive experience in planning and managing medium to large IT projects together with experience of managing supplier and customer relationships. Experience in implementing Microsoft Windows-based records management applications or CRM / ERP type systems is required.
Key requirements:
- Prince2 experience, preferably backed by certification
- ITIL experience, preferably backed by certification
- Strong stakeholder management skills
Daily tasks:
* Produce and deliver project presentations.
* Produce Business Cases
* Act as a technical advisor to the Head of Technology
* Lead a team (three reports)
N.B. The level of security clearance required for this job requires that applicants be resident in the UK for the past five years.
