UI/UX Designer

Description

We’re Phuse, a remote team of strategists, designers, and developers that work with a wide range of clients from funded startups, small businesses, large tech companies and government organizations across many industries.

We are looking for a talented UI/UX designer who’s passionate and excited about what they do. You’ll be working closely with our design team, developers and clients to solve problems and create effective solutions to meet both design and business goals.

Responsibilities

On a daily basis you’ll be working on:

Wireframes and mock-ups for marketing websites, ecommerce stores, landing pages, web & mobile applications, and other interfaces (for tvs, watch etc)

Strategizing with the team and clients to help make effective product, design, and business decisions

Creating IA, user personas, prototypes

Including clients as an integral part of the product development process.

Requirements

At least 3 years experience in UI/UX design

Living in North America

Excellent communication skills and fluent in English

Comfortable working remotely using apps such as Slack, Trello, Email,Hangouts, etc

Excellent portfolio

Expertise in using design tools – Sketch, Photoshop, InVision, Illustrator

You are extremely organized and manage your own responsibilities and deadlines.

Enthusiastic and opinionated about what you do, but accepting of feedback

Enjoy having discussions around process, strategy, and the story behind design decisions.

Bonus

Can code (though you’ll never be asked to)
