Your tasks:
- Design, develop and implement model based production control and diagnostic algorithms in Simulink which meet software requirements
- Consider formal software programming guidelines and quality metrics
- Interact with Software Architect, Project Manager, Controls System Engineer, other algorithm design engineers to define and coordinate interfaces, functional software content and requirements
- Develop and run non-formal functional software tests on desk level using simulation methods
Your qualifications
- Successfully completed engineering degree in control engineering or similar
- Profound automotive experience in model based development of production software using Simulink
- Knowledge of applied model based programming and quality guidelines, e.g. MAAB, MISRA for Simulink
- Understanding of automotive embedded systems, software processes and tools
- Using model based system simulation for algorithm development and test
- Electro mobility, especially electric propulsion system background (torque chain, HV-energy management, etc.)
- Ability of systems thinking and structured approach
- Commitment and initiative
- Very good English skills both spoken and written
