DevOps: Code Scanning Developer (SC Clearance Required)
Fantastic Opportunity for an experienced Application DevOps: Code Scanning Developer to become part of a fast passed challenging team.
Role:
We require developers to set up code scanning tools for both quality and security, integrate these into the build platform, and fix issues resulting from these scans as they come up.
The project is to set up centralised and automated DevOps, ProdOps and Cloud Environment build (Infrastructure as Code). The team will provide "services" to many (100s) of various Agile projects (internal and various suppliers) giving those projects everything they need (tools, process and support) for: Collaboration, Development, Continuous Build, Automated Environments, Automated Test, Environment Management and Environment Support/from Dev to Live.
Suitable candidates will be able to demonstrate the following skills:

. Experience of SonarQube Experience resolving security defects arising from code scans

. Experience resolving code quality defects arising from code scans

. Experience setting up code scans in an automated fashion

. Experience feeding back best practices and training up development teams Java expertise

. Experience on Jira/Confluence, Maven/Jenkins/Git Good analysis skills Java expertise
Desirable Skills and Experience:

. Experience of Agile, DevOps (ideally DevOps at scale)/most notably pipeline automation, continuous deployment, and virtual infrastructure as code

. Good experience/leadership in at least some of the key technologies (Jenkins, Puppet, Cloud APIs, Test Automation)

. Abilities to be client/facing, and work will in a mixed and equal team of client/other suppliers
