Description
One of Flint's Clients has a requirement for a Test Engineer, based in Stockholm, Sweden for a long term assignment.
We are currently looking for a Telecom Test Engineer with a minimum of 3-5 years experience within the telecommunication Circuit Switch Engineer - preferably with Huawei SDB(HLR/HSS) experience.
Main Responsibilities:
- Primary task is to execute test cases on the Huawei SDB(HLR/HSS), verifying services and configuration
- Secondary task is Back Office daily operation on HLR/HSS and MSS after launch
- Possible extension based on the assignment is re-homing of RNCs
Competence:
- Deep experience in CS-network configuration and operations (MSC/MGW/HLR/HSS)
- Preferably on Huawei CS core experience
- Tracing in a complex network and multi-protocol analysis
- Experience with Huawei SDB(HLR/HSS), and Packet Core interfaces
- Analysis of Proper call flow requests, responses and/or updates using Tracing tools to capture LTE-EPC Protocols
- Ability to document the test cases and be responsible for cleaning up discrepancies and ambiguity in the test.
- Including validation with architects to ensure the correct call flow, clearly and accurately document and discuss the discrepancies, anomalies or issues with the test case.
Technical Skills:
- Network topology & various interfaces.
- Protocol Specifications and Analysis.
- Understanding of and experience working with 2G 3G interworking protocols
- Experience with Linux/Unix and virtualized computing technologies.

Desired Skills:
- Previous Legacy experience or proven knowledge of mobile technologies: (2G, 3G, 4G)
- Previous experience or knowledge of Huawei SDM/HLR and circuit switch core.
- Understanding of the relevant 3GPP, ETSI and IETF standards within mobile community
Education & Experience:
- Any degree (Engineering/Computer Science) or work experience within telecommunications section desirable
