Description

WordPress development with focus on converting PSD to WordPress themes and some custom PHP programming via a PHP framework. Developer will code, debug, and unit test systems per requirements and technical design.

Advanced WordPress development and PHP coding skills. (rate 1 to 5)

Converting PSD to a WordPress Theme from scratch (rate 1 to 5)

Converting a PSD to WordPress using available or premium themes (rate 1 to 5)

Knowledge of Genesis Theme/Framework (rate 1 to 5)

Knowledge of Thesis Theme/Framework (rate 1 to 5)

Knowledge of Photoshop with basic image manipulation and slicing (rate 1 to 5)

Knowledge of image optimization using lossless compression (rate 1 to 5)

Knowledge website page speed optimization methods (rate 1 to 5)

List down 3 WordPress or Themeforest (Envato) themes you are most proficient and comfortable working with.

Experience with MySQL databases (rate 1 to 5)

Knowledge of CSS 3 (rate 1 to 5)

Knowledge of HTML5 (rate 1 to 5)

Knowledge of jQuery (rate 1 to 5)

Knowledge of any of the PHP/MVC frameworks:

Codeigniter (rate 1 to 5)

Laravel (rate 1 to 5)

Yii (rate 1 to 5)

Knowledge and experience working with any testing and revision control software/framework is a PLUS, but not a pre-requisite:

PHP Unit (rate 1 to 5)

o Trac (rate 1 to 5)

o Subversion (rate 1 to 5)

Knowledge of Woocommerce and payment gateways (rate 1 to 5).

Work Environment
We run a virtual office. The new hire will be expected to work remotely and time-monitored.

The best candidate understands and is comfortable knowing that they will be evaluated strictly on results they produce.

Must provide your own computer, but a virtual development environment is provided.

Anywhere, but preferably candidates living in the Philippines.
