Nigel Wright Energy is delighted to be recruiting for a Electrical, Controls and Instrumentation Engineer for our client operating in the Biofuels industry.
Reporting to the Projects Department Manager and provide assistance to a number of Project Managers/Engineers with EC&I engineering aspects of capital projects by acting as the interface between the company, appointed contractors and equipment suppliers to ensure that the project is designed, installed and commissioned in a safe and compliant manner. Key responsibilities; • Will flex between projects which will be at different stages; appraise, select, define, execute and operate. • Act as the interface to the OEM/principle contractor to ensure electrical standards are adhered to in all new projects. • Review/design EC&I, assisting principle contractors where necessary. • Review EC&I design for each project with EC&I Engineers and Technicians. • Work closely with the installation contractor during construction to ensure full compliance with the company's EC&I standards.
A successful candidate will ideally demonstrate the following; A time served candidate with a proven track record in a process based industry. If the candidate is not multi-skilled a bias towards C&I with a working knowledge of E is preferred.
