Tasks & Responsibilities
The consultant will participate in the following task assignments:
*Lead the support and evolution of the Oracle Server database infrastructure, architecture definition and deployment of solutions Technical domains;
*Oracle Server database architecture design: Physical, Virtual, High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions (AlwaysOn, Availability Groups, FCI, Database mirroring, Transaction Log shipping, Multi-Site Clustering with SAN Replication);
*Integration of new Server databases architectures in the current hardware and software infrastructure: installation, POC, validation, implementation, automation, deployment, procedures, backup, monitoring;
*Oracle Server database migration strategy, consolidation, planning, risk, workload and supervision;
*Oracle Server database support: performance analysis, session trace, debugging. Support to Operational datacenter and developers in complex enterprise architectures;
*High management skills and experience to lead complex infrastructure projects: organisation, supervision, coordination, autonomy, flexible, communication, presentation, reporting.
Skills and Experience
*University IT degree with minimum 8 year experience in IT, or non university degree with minimum 16 years experience in IT;
*8 years of experience in Oracle database administration, management, analysis & support of complex ICT projects;
*Proven hands-on experience of Linux, SAP, Unix and Linux.
*Proven experience with Oracle SPARC Servers running Solaris;
*Experience in a similar position (team leader, project manager, project leader for complex security related projects, etc);
*Strong experience in Oracle DB Migration (11.2 to 12.1) and Oracle Backup RMAN;
*Proven experience in implementing and following quality procedures;
*Certification ITIL Foundation;
*Our client has currently Oracle (Oracle 12.1 for new projects) on HPUX Servers, storage via NFS on Netappfilers.
*Excellent language skills in English, both written and spoken. French B level is also required.
