Mainframe Operational Analyst - z/OS, Cortex, MVS Belgium
A major Belgian financial service provider with a solid presence in dozens of countries is looking for a Mainframe operation analyst.
Their duties will include:
- Integrating applications within a production environment
- Deploying application within test and production environments
- Overall Multiple Virtual Storage (MVS) expertise
The successful candidate will have to review the technical designs application that developers produce and perform analysis, implementation and integration of applications. The team that you will work with will integrates new applications into our mission-critical production cycle
This will be a perfect opportunity for the candidate to perform tasks such as mapping the applications on the physical production topology, designing batch chains and online systems. Backup & recovery, monitoring and scheduling and providing test cases will also be part of your role.
Technical skills entailed:
- CA-7
- Cortex
- MVS (JCL, Cobol, CICS, MQSeries, DB" ).
French and/or Dutch communication skills will also be beneficial
