Senior Product Analyst - Transformational Products

You may or may not know, but billions of money transactions a year are made using our payments processes, whether via a card machine or online. Our systems enable our customers, whether large or small, to process their customer's payments, so they can grow their business. This could be your local supermarket where you do your weekly shop or favourite airline when you book tickets to New York.

What do we want from you?

You will be an experienced Senior Product Analyst with extensive experience of analysing performance of products and how customers interact with the products in a transformation products portfolio. We are offering the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment with complex data sets providing high profile customer analytics.

You will make recommendations on how to improving the product features for future releases and on how to optimise the customer experience.

This role is a great opportunity for an experienced data analyst to take a pivotal role in a business team that is top priority for Worldpay's future growth strategy

Role Responsibilities:

  • Synthesize results of advanced analyses on customer interactions with our transformational products, including product uptake, drop-out analyses, customer product journeys, product usage levels,
  • Make recommendations on how to optimize the product features, customer journey and marketing campaigns
  • Scope, structure and build data models and code (SQL) to deliver the insights and analyses
  • Track how customers interact with our products using online tracking code and data inputs
  • Identify priority customer target segments for new products, using an existing database to analyse product penetration of the full Worldpay portfolio among our customer base
  • Support the strategy manager with analyses and data expertise
  • Measure and track the impact of consumer marketing campaigns across a portfolio of business and build the insights and expertise to continuously refine campaigns

What Do You Need To Have?

  • Degree in mathematics, engineering or science from a reputable university
  • 2+ year experience in an analytical role in either a leading big data, customer science, loyalty, marketing, retail, telecom, financial services or management consultancy company
  • Advanced problem solving skills with ability to recommend improvements across several business functions (eg product development, customer journey, operations)
  • Proficiency in modelling (eg regression and propensity modelling)
  • Proficient in Base SAS and SQL (or related languages like R, SPSS, etc.)
  • Comfortable optimising code and working with large datasets
  • Strong desire to win and hit milestones
  • Independent with a can-do attitude and a strong aspiration to get things done and improve the business
  • Drive to take initiative and strive in an fast-paced environment with ambiguity
  • Passion to work with highly motivated teams and to continuously develop and coach people
  • Open and transparent communication and non-hierarchical
