Position Title: FileNet Architect
Location: Minneapolis, MN 55487
Work Type: W-2, Corp to Corp, 1099
Contract duration: 6months + (strong possibility of extension)
Business Need:
- Develop capacity planning analysis, tuning recommendations and load testing processes
- Provide guidance in the use of FileNet Deployment Manager for moving design assets and data instances across environments.
- Mentor HJIP Development staff in Object Store Design and provide guidance as needed in the use of FileNet API's in custom applications.
- Assist with the configuration of Content Navigator for use by Production Support staff.
- Mentor HJIP Development staff in how to customize Content Navigator for various audiences.
The design consultant will be expected to:
- Be an expert in FileNet Object Store Design and FileNet Content Management Services (including infrastructure).
- Assist in establishing processes for migrating data instances and design artifacts across environments
- Develop recommendations for large media uptake
- Provide guidance to HJIP Developers to ensure the applications take full advantage of FileNet P8 features
- Have in-depth knowledge and experience in information systems architecture, software design methodologies, software design patterns and Object Oriented Design.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of customers and technology staff
- Be proactive and result-oriented leader adept in mentoring and transferring technical knowledge
List of Deliverables, eg what the consultant(s) will be expected to accomplish:
- Assist HJIP in developing FileNet P8 solutions
- Help identify performance bottlenecks across the P8 infrastructure and within the applications.
- Help deliver a capacity planning checklist and tuning recommendations for FileNet P8
- Mentor development staff on Deployment Manager, Content Navigator, FileNet API's, Object Store Design
- Recommend strategy for Large Media Uptake
- Prepare recommendations for the use of Deployment Manager and other tools to migrate content across environments
