An International Consultancy is currently searching for an IBM Cast Iron Designer/Developer, starting ASAP to work on an initial 6 month contract based in Manchester.
The aim of this position is to work as part of a cross functional design team on client site with client teams to develop a set of detailed designs for Cast Iron integration patterns.
For this IBM Cast Iron Designer/Developer position your tasks will be:
- Able to document designs, solicit feedback and address this in an iterative manner
- Team leadership skills
- Able to coach more junior development staff on how to develop the code
- Able to code as well as design
- Able to support testing from a triage and defect fixing perspective
- Able to perform handover to customer teams of developed systems
