They are currently seeking a Web Application Developer to join their team.
The Web Application Developer will be apart of the PeopleDev Systems and Design team. The team focuses on transforming ideas into learning and development infrastructure and processes that help grow as well as maintain and develop dynamic training tools to deliver interactive learning experiences and assessments. The team is managed by one full time PM and includes 3 other web application developers.
This person must be able to work seamlessly from database development to creating user interfaces. They must be a team-player, able to collaborate with instructional designers in fast-paced projects, and to liaise with non-technical clients. This role will involve both front and Back End development.
Responsibilities and Duties include:
1) Create dynamic websites, platforms and/or applications with HTML, CSS, Ajax, Javascript and JQuery
2) Use and adapt APIs for database/CMS communication
Requirements:
*Must provide portfolio with work samples*
- 5+ years experience with Web Applications with proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and Python
- Proficient in database design and deployment using MySQL, PostgreSQL, or CloudSQL
- Degree in CS or related technical discipline
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to a non-technical audience
- Strong interpersonal skills
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in Angular, Closure, Android, AppEngine, Polymer (Material Design)
- Experience designing APIs for systems integrations
- Experience developing or designing technology for learning
- Consulting and stakeholder management
- Training, teaching or elearning development experience
- Excellent project management, planning, analytical skills
