Description
A client based in Manchester, a leading bank are currently in need of an experienced Solution Architect within the Payments and Treasury area. The ideal candidate will need to create solution designs that meet the requirements of the business and align with the overall IT strategy and architecture. This is a long term contract role paying up to £800/day based in Manchester.The successful candidate will have the following:
Experience of the Payments & Treasure banking domains, and knowledge about current trends in Payments & Treasury
Experience as a solution designer or architect in Payments and/or Treasury functions within a large financial organisation and following a project from initiation through to project delivery
Knowledge about the various payment schemes, such as Faster Payments, Visa/Link, Swift etc
Experience of working with middleware integration technologies,preferably Websphere, Linux and Message Broker
Exposure to integration with Mainframe systems for handling payments
Exposure of working with the business and/or IT in setting the strategic goals within the Payments and Treasury banking domains.
