Position Overview:A leading multinational company is currently seeking an Oracle Fusion Middleware expert to assist with Oracle Web Tier. The professional position will be involved in reviewing, analyzing, and recommending configurations, patching strategies, SOP's, DR, and others.
Responsibilities include:
- Review current Oracle middleware configuration, and security settings based on best practices
- Review current Oracle middleware backup, monitoring, and maintenance based on best practices
- Review current Oracle Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)s based on best practices
- Review current OEM installation and configuration based on best practices
- Recommend the Oracle Rest Data services architecture design and implementation plan: Oracle software structure, Oracle directory structure, Oracle account, Oracle components, and Server/Operating System pre- requisite/dependency, configuration settings and security mandates
- Recommend tools and utilities, new features and formulate implementation plan
- Recommend/document implementation plan based on the dependency among component settings and OEM
- Recommend best practices and formulate implementation plan
- Disabling forms and reports components
- Document process for applying patches to the FMW
- Recommend end-to-end strategy for integrating FMW patching with Database and Apex patching
- Deploy patch and document patching procedures against FMW, Oracle Database and Apex in the development environment
- Perform, identify and document the Gap Analysis between the current patching strategy and the recommendations
- Review current Backup/Recovery plan and make recommendations
- Mitigate identified configuration deficiencies
- Document mitigation steps and make appropriate recommendations based on industry best-practices

- More than 4 years of experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware (OFM)
- Experience with FMW * Experience in WebLogic Server, Oracle Application Express, , IBM AIX
- In-depth understanding on industry standards in regards to patching strategies, disaster recovery
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills is a must * Solid communications skills - both verbal and written
- Exceptional organization skills and a detail oriented approach
- Must be able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Extensive skillset in Microsoft Office suite of products
- Self-starter and highly motivated, thrive on challenges and proven ability to succeed in dynamic environments
- Proven ability to work both independently and within a cross-functional team
