Embedded, DSP, Blackfin, Video codecs, Real TimeI am currently looking for a DSP engineer that has worked with Blackfin hardware to work for a client of mine. You will be developing a real time video program on a DSP platform, incorporating video codecs.

Duration: 3 months (initially)
Rate: £35 - £45 p/h
The client are an industry leading aerospace and defence company and need an strong DSP engineer to assist them with a new project they are currently working on.
You will join the existing team there on an initial 3 month contract but this has the possibility of extend beyond that.
Essential skills & experience: * Embedded C/C++ * Real time digital video processing on DSP platforms * Knowledge of Blackfin hardware, ideally BF609 Desirable skills & experience: * Use of CCES development environment and ADI API Drivers and Services * ITU-R 656 video capture and display, frame blending of graphical overlay data * Video Codecs including JPEG, MJPEG, H264, MPEG4 * USB interfacing - host and peripheral modes * SD Memory interfacing * Knowledge of RTOS would be an advantage
