Software Project ManagerLocation: Cambridge
Position: Permanent
I am looking for a software project manager who has experience in being part of a team which develop s software-as-a-service applications built in an evolving agile environment using continuous integration for the development process. Solid Project Management and Team Lead experience.
You will report directly to the Operations Manager and be responsible for creating detailed project plans in different lifecycle stages. Cloud, webUI, embedded systems and Mobile Apps.Experience and Skills
Required
This role requires someone who has worked in a small to medium sized company environment who is a self-starter with a can-do attitude. The following skills and experience are required:
- Experience of managing software development projects with complex integration
- A deep and expert understanding of project delivery lifecycles
- Experienced with both functional and non-functional requirements
- Experience of eliciting non-functional requirements
- Experience of delivering to a high standard of quality and reliability
- Ability to manage and deliver multiple tasks
- Strong customer focus and commercial awareness
- Good inter-personal skills at all levels from Team Members to Directors
- Confident dealing with project stakeholders
- Sound problem solving skills
- Ability to work in the UK
- PMI or similar accreditation
- A good understanding of systems analysis and design.
- Familiarity with automated continuous integration environments
- Experience in a Linux or Microsoft based cloud environment
- Experience working with offshore development facilities
- Experience managing development for both cloud and low level software
- Experience leading software development projects providing mobile or web based user interfaces
- Knowledge of Scrum or other agile methodology
- An understanding and experience of ISO quality management systems (ISO 9000, CMM-i).
