IT Architect - Solution Design, Application Architecture, Core Banking processes, data warehouses, finance and risk processes

We are looking for a IT Architect for a 9 month assignment with our customer in Stockholm, Sweden.

The IT architect must have a solution design and application architecture profile for a role in a team that has the responsibility to design interfaces and integration solutions based on requirements and architectural principles.

IT Architect's Must Haves:

• The architect delivers IT solution architectures on detailed level.
• The solutions and integrations created must be common and future proof.
• Emphasis is put on harmonization of architecture and simplification of the systems environment, which today is very complex with many dependencies and stakeholders.
• The architect plays a key role in handling the complexity and in simplifying that.
• Primary focus will be to analyse the data that is delivered in the current interfaces and to reduce the number of interfaces by combining deliveries and by removing duplicate deliveries.

The candidate should deliver evidence of the following:

• Substantial experience with drawing up solution designs in the area of systems integration.

• Experience with different patterns and mechanisms for systems integration and connectivity
• Understanding of data definitions, data modelling and data mapping
• The ability to drive the work in considering different solution alternatives
• Experience in transforming business and IT requirements to hands on solutions, with consideration to architectural principles
• Willingness and ability to handle concrete details
• Guiding development teams in the realisation of the architecture
• Disposing of a lot of drive and good verbal and written English are other key success factors for this role.

The following points are considered as a plus:

• Understanding of finance and risk processes and data in banking
• Understanding of Core Banking processes
• Understanding of data warehouses
• Knowledge of standard message and file formats in the financial industry
