Job description- The engineering team implements and maintains the core components of the systems and network infrastructure, and installs and maintains the kernel of the business applications.
- Changes to the infrastructure are planned and executed via Change Management procedures based on ITIL guidelines.
- Larger changes, new systems or business applications are implemented using Project Management methods (based on PRINCE-II guidelines)
- The engineer is part of this team and thus interacts with both IT and business colleagues related to changes or projects under his responsibility.
- The team provides design, implementation and 3rd level support capabilities and is assumed to restore failed IT Service as quickly as possible.
You have completed a higher education in IT or proven, relevant experience in similar environments and technologies.
You are capable of working independent, take initiative when required and curious by default.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCES
You have a thorough knowledge and management experience with the following components:
- Microsoft AD and its components
- Microsoft security (NTFS, policies, auditing, logging, reporting)
- Windows Server 2003, 2008(R2), 2012(R2)
You have knowledge and management experience with at least some of the following components:
- Exchange migration capabilities, IIS, proxy server replacement
- System Center Suite (SCCM/SCOM), able to implement
- SkyPE for business (Lync) implementation experience
- MS SQL DBA good knowledge but not on the DBA level
- HP Extream management
Good knowledge of :
- Load balancers, firewalls
- Split VLAN's, trunking, VPN Terminators
Knowledge and management experience with the following components is an optional benefit:
- VBscript/PowerShell scripting
- SAN/NAS infrastructure, iSCSI EMC storage solutions, Fujitsu servers
- Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop and migration
- VMware vSphere, Horizon View, ESX
OTHER COMPETENCES
- Able to work in a multicultural, multilingual environment
- Bilingual NL/FR and EN
