Description
Project Manager- Global Supply ChainProject Manager required by a leading biopharmaceutical company on a contract basis to manage concept planning, project initiation, execution and completion of the global Shipping & distribution Networks Optimisation. This is a 12 month contract position based in Ireland.
These projects are multiple and include new distribution centres, changes in 3rd parties and partners in road, air, freight etc.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the Global Shipping & Distribution Networks Optimisation Supply Chain project across the global supply chain from concept through to completion
• Develop and implement a strong project methodology that is effective in a virtual supply chain organisation
• Identity and manage resources required for this project and manage cross functional teams to meet project timelines
• Develop clear and concise a project plan and effectively communicate project goals/progress to all key stakeholders
• Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
• Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
Requirements
Background in pharma/ biopharma or GMP related industry logistics and supply chain.
• Project Management experience in either Supply Chain or Distribution, preferably in a Pharmaceutical Environment.
• Good knowledge of GMP and GDP preferred
• Good knowledge of Cold Chain +2 to +8°C preferred
• Excellent knowledge of MS Project and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
