An exciting role has arisen with a dynamic company. This role defines a high level enterprise-wide IT Architecture focusing on the mapping of IT capabilities to business needs. The focus is on defining the relationships, flows and implementation of business (processes/activities/functions, information), applications, data and technology in the enterprise and the transitional process necessary for implementing technology in response to changing business needs.
This Role is a Technical Leadership role for the Middleware Business Product Services Team, Product areas - SOA/BPM/ODM/Portal/Integration/Application Platform/ITSM and DevOPS are all in Scope.
In this key position you will be communicating with Project Managers, IT Architects, IT Specialists/Consultants, sales professionals and business clients. As part of a dynamic team you will be working effectively to understand customer needs, design, evaluate and implement infrastructure solutions.
Your experience will include detailed understanding of infrastructure technology, tools and concepts to attain project/business unit objectives along with the ability to apply this knowledge without direct guidance.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's Degree
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure design, Security, Middleware systems, Application Integration, Virtualization, IT Service Management
- At least 5 years experience in designing solutions for on demand environments to cater for virtualisation, storage and availability needs
- 5 years experience in financial/banking industry.
- At least 5 years experience in leading technical solution design, encompassing Intel/Midrange/desktops and storage, at an enterprise level
- English: Fluent
Preferred
- Certified Oracle OCP/MCP, VMware VCA/VCP, Redhat RHCE, Microsoft MSCA, IBM Rational/AIX/WebSphere/HPUX specialist.
- Certified in ISACA (Information Systems Audit and Control Association)
- Certified in CGEIT (Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT)
- Certified in CRISC (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control )
- Certified in ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library),TOGAF (Open Group Architecture Framework)
- Certified in PMI (Project Management Institute) PMP (Project Management Professional)
- Knowledge of Finance/Banking/Payments industries.
Additional information
The Architect team works with the account teams, peers and other staff to achieve their goals in enterprise ICT transformation, workload migration and optimization.
The Architect participates in a wide range of design activities, from requirement's analysis through systems and/or process design specification and is responsible for the development of detailed designs and integration/adaptation of Global Standard solutions and offerings. At this level the position requires knowledge across multiple platforms, processes or architecture
