Description
GotSoccer schedules most major youth soccer tournaments in the US, as well as thousands of individual youth and amateur clubs and leagues for soccer, field hockey, lacrosse, and other sports. We are currently developing a new scheduling system, building on our experience as the leader in sports management and scheduling software in the United States. This is a stand-alone and international platform built on Ruby on Rails, created to allow league administrators to quickly generate, modify, and analyze league schedules that are optimized for competition and team travel, as well as compliant with league rules and venue availability blackouts or scheduling conflicts. The system also includes a set of specialized interfaces for referee assignment and team management.
We are looking for a developer to focus primarily on creating management interfaces and refining the flow through the application. This is a professional tool with many different usage scenarios and the interface must be continuously refined and adapted to allow us to add functionality while not burdening the users with a cluttered interface or confusing experience.
This is a long term / ongoing project and a full-time position is available after a 30 day period where you will learn about our project and demonstrate how you can contribute.
