Oracle ETL/ Data warehousing / BI Developer - Contract - Full Time - 3 months rolling - Financial sector - Newcastle OR NorwichReal Staffing - IT Division are recruiting for several contract Oracle specialists to work as an Oracle ETL / Business Intelligence (BI) developer, for a large financial organisation in the North East region of the UK.
This role will be ongoing as a result of large projects planned throughout 2015, where you will be working across both the Oracle Business intelligence team, utilising OBIEE and the Oracle Data warehousing team utilising ETL.
We are looking for highly experienced Oracle contractors to start asap working as an integral part of an experienced Financial Sector Oracle team.
Suitable applicants must have the following skills:
Essential Skills:
- ETL (projects mainly focused in this area)
- Data warehousing experience - design and development
- Oracle warehouse Builder (OWB)
- Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)
- Understanding of Partitioning, Indexing, type 2 dimensions, data modelling, schemas
- Using PL/SQL as load tool with Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB); versions 10.1 and 11.2
- Kimball methodologies
- OBIEE
- Strong Oracle Business Intelligence (BI) experience
- Analytical skills: Technical Design, Data Profiling, Functional & Technical specification writing
Day to Day Duties:
- Working with the ETL specialism across the Data warehousing and BI teams
- First 1-2 weeks need to be on site where the project is based for sufficient familiarisation, after this point there is flexibility on the locations of either Newcastle or Norwich
- Home working NOT applicable
Contract Length:
- Initially 3 months with the view to extend long term to meet demands of up and coming projects.
- Working hours Monday to Friday standard contract hours (40 hours per week)
Day Rate
- £400 - £433 per day maximum inclusive of expenses
Start Date:
- Ideal Start Date: ASAP
