MySQL DBAA worldwide leading online tech company are looking to add a MySQL DBA to their team. They have exciting projects that they need a specialist open source database administrator to come in and work closely with the development team.
Role:MySQLDBA
Duration: 6 months daily rate contract
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Rate: DOE
Your Role:
Leading and co-ordinating the team in their MySQL strategy. You will be designing additions to the database, ensuring that the system are secure, highly available and scalable. An important part is recommending best practise in implementation, management and design of the system. You are the MySQL expert so the company will be relying on your expertise to guide them through.
The ideal candidate must have:
- Strong MySQL skills. MySQL 5.5+
- Experience with Highly Available database systems
- Experience in relation database schema design
- Excellent communicator to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Connected and knowledgable on current trends in the RDBMS world.
- Minimum 5 years commercial experience
