Senior Developer - 6Months+ - Stoke-On-Trent(JavaScript/Typescript/HTML5/CSS3)
My client has a fantastic contract opportunity for multiple ASP.NET / JavaScript developers to join their organisation.
The client is based in Stoke-On-Trent and is really one of the most cutting - edge and forward thinking places to work. They are renowned for being the biggest competitor in the betting and gaming industry.
This is a fantastic contract opportunity as you will be working on cutting edge and dynamic webpages. Ideally you will be happy working in an extremely demanding and fast paced environment.
The role will involve working across multiple projects - mobile, BAU work and also a large project converting their desktop site which is currently written in Flash/Actionscript into HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript/Typescript.
You will be expected to work within a team of highly qualified developers using the latest push technology, working on live in-play betting systems, sports video streaming and sports content services.
The Senior developer role is 80% hands on coding and 20% hands off. The 20% hands off will involve reviewing colleague's code, coming up with new solutions and potentially some mentoring of Juniors.
Key Skills Required:
- Javascript - you must be able to code native, vanilla, object orientated Javascript with or without libraries.
- HTML5
- CSS3
- ASP.NET or C# - must have good experience in this or at least good knowledge
- Used to working in an Agile environment - TDD, Continuous Integration
Desirable Skills:
- Typescript - or something similar
- Flash
- Actionscript
Contract Location: Stoke-On-Trent
Contract Length: Initially 6 months with a very high possibility of extension
Contract Rate: £300 - £375 per day Role
